10 Months Old

I am THAT mom! Lately I have noticed I have become the mom I once swore I would never be! Examples:
1. HAVE to have my coffee in the morning!
2. While in stores, I tend to ignore the babies fussing.
3. My kids and I stay in our PJs all day sometimes.
4. TOTALLY don't mind if they watch Baby Einstein videos when I need to get something done.
5. UGLY bags under my eyes.
6. Highchairs have GROSS crusties on the seams and seat!
7. Talk WAY too long to strangers in stores due to lack of adult interaction!
8. Worst of all...I TOTALLY WATCH THE VIEW! UGH!

Diaper changing is now called calf roping in our house! Really I think I may have a shot in the Mesquite Championship Rodeo after this! Babies will NOT be still to have diaper changed!

Teething is in full effect right now. The babies rock back and forth rubbing their gums on their crib rail all the time. Unfortunately I am seeing visions of Cash teething on Remi soon. He is already trying to grab her and test out his teeth on her! Poor baby girl. Remi has had a VERY rough past couple of days with her teething pain. But (knock wood), she has had a great afternoon so far!

Remi is on the verge of walking. I think she could if she were as adventurous as her brother. She stands up unassisted constantly and then claps because she is doing a good job! Cash loves to be walked around the house so that he can kick a ball. He can turn the ball around using his foot and get it in position to kick it. I am pretty amazed at his skills. I will have to look into soccer I suppose. Jeff and my brother played Select Soccer, so maybe it is in his DNA.

I am looking forward to my birthday! Not wanting to turn ANOTHER year older, but happy that I have lots of mini-celebrations set up over the next couple of weeks! I can't wait!

Lately I have been hearing the name Cash a lot. After teaching school so long, I wanted baby names I NEVER HEARD! When Jeff chose Cash I was fine with it for that reason... so bummed that there are 4 other baby boys named Cash at our pediatrician's office! Hoping it isn't some kind of trend. Was there a movie or something out recently? (besides Walk the Line) Thank Goodness I only know ONE Remi! = )
