35 Weeks

But wait....am I 45 weeks because that is what my belly was measuring last week! Last week OB said cervix was not effaced or dilated at all! What that means is that I was closed up tight and most likely delivering on scheduled c-section day! I go to OB this Tuesday (tomorrow) and perinatologist Thursday. We'll see if cervix is still closed. Last week the babies were measured and the weights were estimated at: Boy 6lbs., 4oz. and Girl 6lbs., 1oz. That size is the 65th percentile for one baby in utero. Pretty big for twins! The perinatologist was surprised that they had not slowed down on growth yet. The babies won't be measured this week because they only do it every 2 weeks. So, the week of Thanksgiving we will get our final guess on size before delivery! Dr. thinks it is likely they will be 7 lbs. each! In case you are wondering...yes, it HURTS!!!! I am having trouble standing and walking. I am still working half-day, which is painful, but nice because it makes the time go by faster. Only two more weeks til the big day! I woke up at 6:30 and immediately started crying this morning and feeling scared. Of what? I don't know...delivery, health of babies, caring for them, breastfeeding, finances, hormones, pain, lack of sleep, etc. Jeff had to console me before work. So sweet.
